In Post-Production: The Question,
a short film by Rebbekah Vega-Romero
The Question: Two biracial friends come together to discuss their dating lives & one thing becomes clear: dating while mixed isn't easy - but it is absurd. The best way to deal with micro-aggressions? Laugh about it. In this short comedic film, we will share the mixed-race perspective on modern dating.

In February of 2020, Rebbekah and her team raised $10k to make her first short film. Check out the successful campaign here. They were halfway through filming when the COVID-19 quarantine began in NYC.

After an eight month delay, production resumed on November 17th, 2020 and wrapped on the 18th. We are almost done with post-production and plan to make the festival circuit in 2022!
Pandemic Projects:
In May of 2020, Rebbekah was featured as Wendy in the delightful Musicals from Home production of the charming new musical, Pete(her) Pan. Check out the beautiful ballad "Darling" at 41:09!
Previously:
In the spring of 2019, Rebbekah starred as Maria in West Side Story at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.

In the fall of 2018, it was an honor for Rebbekah to help revive Philip Barry's very first play. Pictured here in character as Miss Veronica Duane.
